Letter of the Week

Week of Oct. 19th - We will focus on the letter "Mm"

Week of Oct. 25th - We will focus on the letter "Bb"

Week of Nov. 2nd - We will focus on the letter "Ss"

Week of Nov. 9th - We will focus on the letter "Tt"

Week of Nov. 16th - We will focus on the letter "Ff"

Week of Nov. 23rd - We will focus on the history and traditions related to Thanksgiving.

Week of Nov. 30th - We will focus on the letter "Aa"

Crayons

Tip #1 - Point out letters in the world around you. When you are at the grocery store, have your child pick a cereal/treat that begins with the letter of your choice or the letter of the week.

Tip #2 - When you are reading to your child, have them point to the letter of the week anywhere on the page.

Tip #3 - Have your child count the number of words on a (short) page and then the number of letters. This not only helps with counting, but it helps your child learn the difference between letters and words!

Please return your child's folder EVERYDAY. We will be looking for any and all paperwork you have completed at home.
